Santa Fe is the capital of the state of New Mexico, even though it is only the fourth-largest city in the state. It has a population of approximately 73,000 and is characterized by cool winters and warm summers. Santa Fe sites 7000 feet above sea level and it receives 2-3 inches of rain per month in the summer and about 5 inches of snow per month in the winter. At the same time, they receive 300 plus days of sunshine a year and an average relative humidity of 50%.
